Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located? What’s the parking situation?

I am located on Main Street in downtown New Paltz.

My address is 126 Main Street, and I am in Suite 1A.

There is plenty of parking at the rear of the building for your convenience.

You enter through the door facing the parking lot and can make yourself comfortable in the waiting area.

There is water and a bathroom available.

Do you accept my insurance?

I am in-network with Aetna Insurance.

I am happy to send you ‘superbills’ for private-pay sessions that can easily be submitted to your insurance provider for reimbursement (if they offer out-of-network reimbursement).

What is your schedule like?

I am in the office:

Monday, 10 am – 1 pm

Tuesday – Thursday, 9 am – 6 pm

I schedule recurring weekly appointments (i.e., Tuesdays at 9 am every week).

Who do you work with?
I work with ages 15+ on an individual basis.
How long have you been a therapist?
In the current form (licensed psychologist), over seven years. I have been working as a therapist since 2009 when I began working with children and adults diagnosed with Autism.
What are some of your accomplishments?
I received the highest merit-based scholarship in graduate school, published writing, presented at many conferences, and was promoted to lead one of the busiest clinics in the Veteran’s Affairs (VA) Hospital in Pittsburg, PA.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes! I see patients in person, via telehealth, and hybrid.
What brand of tissues do you use?

Honestly, the best part of working with me might be my tissues.

I go with those cotton ones that make you feel all fancy.

I even put them in a fancy leather box and write about them on my FAQ page to really play it up.

If you’re crying in your therapist’s office, you deserve the best.

Is it really all my parents’ fault?

Yes. And no.

It’s complicated. Call me.

Any surprising facts I should know?

I like watching sports, mostly motorcycle racing, soccer (football), and basketball.

That generally surprises patients, as I have an unplugged, spiritual, musician vibe.

You can be both!
